-Went knocking on door a i still recall in the small quartier of Vieux Sainte Rose greeted by a smiling gentle man i sang my songs to him as best i can

-i wrote this song for Pierre Joly a friend a chum of many guys like me a master at the kraft of melody
i used to call him Piero as you see..

-days and years went on song after song till the day he said theres something wrong !

-so he went to war from that day on then we turned around and he was gone then i turned around and Piero was gone
